TWO men arrested by police in connection with the stabbing of a South Tyneside father have been released on bail.
A 31-year-old and 24-year-old were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender after the death of David Charlton.
The 25-year-old was killed on Friday night in Stanhope Road following a night out with his girlfriend.
The pair have been bailed by police pending further inquiries.
Meanwhile, two teenagers aged 15 and 19, who were arrested on suspicion of murder, remain in police custody.
