TWO men accused of brawling in a South Tyneside pub will have their cases heard at crown court.
Lee Manson, 25, and Jonathan Gowland, 23, were at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court facing a joint charge of affray.
Manson, of Inverness Road, Jarrow, allegedly smashed a bar stool off someone’s back in The Jester in Tasmania Road, South Shields, on January 5.
Gowland, of Finchale Road, Jarrow, is said to have hit someone with a pool cue.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case and neither man entered a plea.
They will both appear at Newcastle Crown Court on September 10 and were granted unconditional bail until then.
