POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two cars were torched in a South Tyneside street.
At 11.55pm last night, police received a report that a Volkswagen Golf and a Ford Focus were on fire in Morris Crescent, Boldon Colliery.
Police and the fire and brigade attended and the blazes were put out. At this stage the fires are believed to be suspicious.
