South Shields charity shop broken into

THIEVES who stole cash and goods in a break-in at a South Shields charity shop are being hunted by police.

The raid happened at the Sue Ryder shop in Prince Edward Road between 5.15pm Friday, July 25, and 8.45am the next morning.

Among the items stolen were a yellow Chicco pushchair and a pink acoustic guitar.

Anyone with any information into the theft is asked to contact police on 101, ext 69191.
