Teen arrested over horror-tackle Tweets

A TEENAGER has been arrested on suspicion of producing malicious content, after tweets were sent to Wigan footballer Callum McManaman.

McManaman’s tackle on Sunday on Newcastle’s Massadio Haidara saw the defender taken to hospital.

Police say a 17-year-old from Ashington, Northumberland, has been issued with a fixed penalty notice after the comment went on to Twitter.
