SHOPLIFTERS have targeted four shops in South Shields.
Gloves worth £14.99 were stolen from JJB Sports and headphones worth £130 were taken from HMV, both in King Street, on Saturday.
Meanwhile, alcohol worth £25 was stolen from Morrisons in Ocean Road, and wine worth £20 was taken from the Co-op store in Dean Road on the same day.
Police are viewing CCTV to try and trace the culprits.
