A WOMAN accused of being drunk behind the wheel of a car will stand trial.
Lauren Flood was at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court yesterday facing a charge of being drunk in charge of a vehicle.
The 20-year-old was arrested on February 7 in the Central Library car park in South Shields town centre.
She allegedly had 79mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath – the legal limit being 35mg.
