A MAN accused of possessing three types of drugs will stand trial.
Police say they found a small amount of cannabis, amphetamine and MDMA on Hugh Anderson during a search.
The 48-year-old was at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court yesterday facing three counts of possessing controlled drugs.
He admitted having the cannabis – a Class B drug – but denied having amphetamine, also Class B, and the Class A MDMA.
Anderson, of Charles Street. Boldon Colliery, will be back at the court on May 20 for his trial.
He was granted unconditional bail until then.
Anderson will also be sentenced for possessing cannabis on that date.
