A 15-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with a drug offence after a cannbis farm was found at a South Tyneside property.
The teenager, of no fixed abode, was arrested by police following the discovery of 369 plants at an address in Handel Street, South Shields.
He appeared before South Tyneside Magistrates Court, today, charged with producing cannabis.
Ghuan Nguyen, 29, of no fixed abode also appeared, today, charged with the same offence.
Both entered no pleas to the charge and were remanded in custody to appear at Newcastle Crown Court on April 30.
The raid on the property happened, yesterday, afternoon.
