Yobs go on car wrecking spree in South Tyneside

Police are appealing for information after a number of cars were damaged in South Shields.

Sometime between Thursday evening, March 13, and Friday morning, March 14, vandals have scratched paintwork on three cars parked in Urfa Terrace, Woodland Terrace and Saint Aidan’s Road.

The damage to the cars will cost hundreds of pounds to repair and enquiries are ongoing into the incidents.

Officers are checking for CCTV in the area and are appealing for anyone with any information to contact them on 101 ext 69191.
