Heating problems close South Tyneside schools

TWO South Tyneside schools were closed today due to the wintry weather affecting the borough.

Stanhope Road Primary in Stanhope Road, and Mortimer Primary in Mortimer Road, both South Shields, were closed due to heating problems.

Both are expected to reopen tomorrow.
