Double delight for Sunderland’s Fraizer Campbell

DOUBLE DELIGHT ... Sunderland's Fraizer Campbell.

DOUBLE DELIGHT ... Sunderland's Fraizer Campbell.

SUNDERLAND’S Fraizer Campbell made his England debut last night - at exactly the same time as he became a father for the first time.

The 24-year-old was introduced 79 minutes into the Three Lions’ 3-2 friendly defeat by Holland at Wembley.

However, any disappointment at the result was eased after the final whistle when Campbell discovered he had become a dad.

He tweeted: “Delighted to earn my first international cap and the very same moment I became a dad to Isla rose campbell! #cloud9.”

It completed an amazing few weeks for the former Manchester United man, who has battled back to full fitness after 18 months out with a serious knee injury.
