A NORTH Sea ferry passenger has been reunited with the crew who saved her life after she fell overboard.

Jeni Anderson plunged into the sea after falling 60 feet from the deck while en route to Amsterdam from the Tyne in September 2011.

BBC Inside Out brought her together with the off-duty emergency paramedic crew involved in the rescue operation and Andreas Kristensen, the captain of the DFDS Seaways ferry, for a documentary being shown tonight.

It will be screened on BBC One at 7.30pm.

The ferry was sailing down the North Yorkshire coast when the accident occurred.

Jeni, from Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, spent 35 minutes in the sea as an RAF crew attended.

Graham Johnson, of South Tyneside Marine Safety Training Centre, said a fall of that height would normally kill someone.

The documentary will be broadcast on BBC One at 7.30pm tonight.
