Henry just hopes the snow will drag-on!

COOL CREATION ... Danielle Pyke with Henry the Snow Dragon, who took nearly four hours to build.

SCORES of South Tynesiders sent in their snowy snaps this weekend, as the borough was covered in white.

And here is the first of them – Henry the Snow Dragon, built by Daniel Pyke and Danielle Loughlin, both 24, in Geoffrey Street, Whiteleas, South Shields.

The couple spent almost four hours working on the towering creation on Friday night.

Danielle’s mum, Louise, said: “Two years ago they built a dragon called Henry and the picture was in the Gazette, so they decided to do it again.

“We’ve had lots of people coming past and taking pictures – it’s quite something.

“It took a lot of work, they were out from 8pm and didn’t come in until it was almost midnight!”

* Have you built a cool snow man or some other creation? Send your pictures to gazette.news@northeast-press.co.uk
