It brings to life some of the most popular Disney characters with a life-like set-up of Andy’s Room from Toy Story, a Mickey Mouse club and dining rooms where the walls come to life, as well as live Disney shows.

The day-long visit is part of Disney Cruise Lines’ 12-night British Isles cruise which began in Dover. The ship will depart tonight at around 5.45pm.

Nolan Gray, Port of Tyne business development director, said: “The Port of Tyne has worked extremely hard to attract visiting cruise lines to our award-winning International Passenger Terminal in North Shields.
