Mortimer were kings of the castle
EVEN a downpour couldn't dampen the spirits of one bunch of school-leavers at their end-of-year prom.
Year 11 students from Mortimer Community College in Reading Road, South Shields, donned their glad rags to celebrate the end of exams and their secondary school days.
They partied at a surprise locaction, which turned out to be magnificent Lumley Castle at Chester-le-Street, and even had a couple of special guests - Will Smith and Austin Powers lookalikes!
