Superfan gran is latest to go Vote Joe
JOE McElderry's gran is the latest family member who will be changing her name to boost his chances of winning.
Hilda Joyce will be changing her name by deed poll to Vote Joe today.
The 75-year-old from South Shields will join Joe's mum and daughter Eileen in changing her name – as well as dozens of Joe fans.
It's part of a world record attempt for the amount of people to change their monicker to the same name.
They are both following in the footsteps of Real Radio presenter Kelly Scott who changed her name a fortnight ago.
The original Vote Joe said: "I am so excited for today.
"The fact that so many people have decided to show their support for Joe by also changing their name is just fantastic.
"This will surely help Joe on his way to becoming the X Factor winner this weekend."
