Man charged with murder of North East man Matthew Davis

The 39-year-old from North Parade in North Tyneside, was found dead at his home in Whitley Bay on Friday evening. (March 17.)

Detectives investigating the case have charged a 25-year-old man from Whitley Bay with murder.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before North Tyneside Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, March 22.

Northumbria Police inquiries are ongoing.
