A BOUTIQUE in the heart of Whitburn has re-launched with a new name and fresh look.

Crowds gathered at Stella’s Loft, formerly Paper Moon, on Saturday for a look inside the shop in East Street.

It was officially re-opened by local councillor for Whitburn, Coun Tracey Dixon.

Owner Ann Marie Bainbridge, who named the boutique after her mum, said: “The day was absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t have wished for a better turnout.

“Stella’s Loft is a dream come true for me and it was great to see so many people on the day.

“The name Stella’s Loft is in honour of my mother Stella, who was a great inspiration to me.

“I’m extremely proud of what we’ve achieved so far and hope to see the business go from strength to strength in the coming months.”

The boutique sells a range of items including East of India and Heaven Sends gifts, Ashleigh and Burwood home fragrances and “Made In Italy” silks and linen clothing.

Coun Dixon said: “I was really privileged to have been invited to officially re-launch the shop. It is a fantastic asset to the village.

“The boutique is great at attracting visitors to the village as it is such an unique village shop.”
