Their handlers will come up with the names, but the force is welcoming suggestions for the two girls and the boy.

Their journey as they train up to become general purpose dogs, will be tweeted via the units @npdogsection account, with updates and photos of their progress to be shared.

The force has also come up with the hashtag for people to search ‪#‎NPpuppywatch‬

The team is also preparing to welcome a litter of Belgian Malinois today, with photos of the newcomers expected soon.
