Signs point to a world record

Sign2Sing event held at Hedworth Primary School.

Sign2Sing event held at Hedworth Primary School.

LITTLE learners at Hedworth Lane Primary School in South Tyneside swapped sums and science for singing and sign language as part of a world record attempt in aid of a national deaf charity.

The sing-along wasn’t only to chance to put the school’s name in the record books, but raised awareness and cash for a charity cause. CHRIS MAXWELL reports
