South Tyneside singers are coming together to host a night of music in memory of two much-loved teenagers killed in the Manchester terror attack.
Together Forever aims to bring people together in a show of unity and support to the families of Liam Curry and Chloe Rutherford.
The couple were among the 22 killed when a suicide bomber struck at the end of the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester on May 22.
Their deaths left family, friends and the community where they grew up shocked and heartbroken.
A number of balloon releases have taken place across South Tyneside in tribute to Liam, 19, and Chloe, 17.
A book of condolence has also been opened at South Shields Town Hall where people can pay their own tributes.
Now, people are being invited to join local singers for a night of live music dedicated to the couple who were described as “inseparable” and “perfect in every way for each other” by their devastated families.
Taking to the stage will be singers Lewis Curry Duo, Scott Keirs, Dan Elliott, Lauren Amour and Taylor Payne.
Throughout the night, people will also have the chance to write on cards their own memories of Liam and Chloe and place them in a memorial box.
These will then be shared with their families.
Chris Joyce, who has organised the event, said: “With everything that has happened I just wanted to do something to show the support the families have here in South Shields.
“Local acts will be taking part in the night. And it’s just a way for people to come together and remember Liam and Chloe.
“People will also be able to write their own memories they have of the couple which can be collected and then shared with their families.
“I think it will be nice for the families to read some of the memories people have of Liam and Chloe.”
Chris added: “The council have been really helpful, they have been so supportive I really can’t thank them enough.
“We just want to show their families how much support they have and I would like to thank everyone who has made the event possible.”
The music event will be staged at the Amphitheatre down by the seafront on Friday from 6pm until 9pm.
Any money raised on the night will be given to the couple’s families.
