Social media fills with tributes to South Tyneside cliff-fall teen Chirelle Calder

Social media users have posted beautiful tributes to tragic cliff-fall teen Chirelle Calder.

The 17-year-old, from Jarrow, was rushed to hospital after falling from Marsden cliffs in South Shields, yesterday, but sadly, her life could not be saved.

Now, scores of people have taken to social media to pay tribute to the popular teen, and post messages of support for her family and friends.

Charlie Foster said on Facebook: "An amazing friend! ! Love you so much Chirelle. Can't believe I won't see you again! Always and forever in our hearts."

And Richard McGeary posted: "Angels are with her now, keeping her safe from this evil world."

Lauren Lennard-O'reilly wrote: "Such a good friend to me, more like my little sister. Sleep tight gorgeous girl xxx"

Steven Westy said in a post: "Rest In peace Chirelle. Our thoughts are with your family at this hard time. From myself and all the team at South Shields Volunteer Life Brigade."

Lyndsey Johnson said: "Absolutley heartbreaking xxx. Thoughts with her family at this awful time xxx. RIP beautiful xxx"
