South Shields couple star in new Sam Smith video
Emily Fay Palmer-Giles and Bethan Amber Carr-Brown feature in several clips of the new video, which shows a series of couples going through the heartache of saying goodbye.
Produced by Mikey Levelle and Tom Birmingham, the emotional video, directed by Luke Monaghan, has already attracted high praise from fans across the world.

Hide AdThe video is believed to have been filmed in North Tyneside and Sam, who won four Grammys in 2015, won his sixth Number 1 with the single.
The pair who live in the Chichester area of town, were delighted to have been selected to appear in the video which has already amassed over one million views on YouTube just days after its release.
Emily, who works in stage and production management, said it had been an incredible experience.
She said: “We are really pleased with it.
“One of our friends recommended us for it and the person who was doing the auditions got in touch with us and said we would be great for it, so we sent in an audition tape a couple of months ago.

Hide Ad“It was shot locally and got released this week, although the song has been out for a while.
“We were treated really well during filming and it has been a really good experience.”
Bethan, 23, who works as and actress and singer, is no stranger to the limelight, but the couple’s friends and family were surprised to see them appear in such a high-profile project.
Emily added: “People have been quite surprised.
“They know that we do bits and pieces like this and Bethan is quite involved in the acting industry, but they were just surprised by the scale of it.
“It is very exciting for us.”
