South Shields motor retailer wins top regional business award

A South Shields-based motor retailer is celebrating after winning a top regional business award.

Vic Young Ltd picked up the Services Award, sponsored by the University of Sunderland, at the North East Business Awards.

The family-run business, established more than 40 years ago and a main dealership for Mitsubishi in Tyneside, won the award at a gala event held at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.

Managing director Vic Young said: “The North East Business Awards are held in such high regard in the region and we are delighted to have won this year.
