Changes are not necessary

Having read Gazette opinion (September 15) when it was said “It is a move which is already dividing opinion. Some think it is heresy while others can’t see what all the fuss is about and think nothing will change” (Referring to the Boundary Commission’s proposals to shift parts of South Shields into Jarrow and not ‘Bake Off’ moving channels).

I would agree with the social media comments (September 14) that electoral boundary changes are quite unnecessary and are just a Conservative ploy to reduce Labour strongholds.
