Free to trade world wide

Have your say

The result of the EU referendum was that the British voters gave a clear mandate to our Government to leave the European Union.

In previous discussions the EU had the opportunity to reform the EU but put next to nothing on the table and said that is all you are getting.

Now the tables are turned we can say, our requirements are needed to allow the EU to continue trading with the us. An example of our requirements are that we will claim back our fishing waters, control who enters and who leaves the UK, including people who hold an EU passport– Freedom of Movement would not be an automatic right.

During the referendum we had project fear, now we have anything that happens being blamed on Brexit. Most of the negative comments have been engineered by those who have benefited from the EU, especially those on gold plated EU pensions. The demonstrators would demonstrate whichever way the vote went.

We voted out and that is the only legitimate standing that matters, now the Government has to follow our mandate. This is not the time for internal arguments. We all need to forget about remainers or leavers and come together as the United Kingdom and see this through.

We already have the world lining up to trade with us and the UK Government stated last year that the 90% of world growth would come from outside Europe.

The USA, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and India are all keen to forge trade deals and the Trade Minister is visiting China, Hong Kong and Brazil for trade talks.

The main thing we voted for was independence to run the country as the voters wish. In itself this and all the other benefits of leaving, boosts the economy and our trade with the EU and the rest of the world.
