Must be more humane way

So Kielder Forest has been chosen for a project to reintroduce Eurasian Lynx Forest Cats to the UK in an attempt to control its deer population.

It is also thought they could attract more tourists to the area (to take selfies with a Lynx no doubt).

However, it’s believed opponents fear the Lynx will be a threat to farmers’ livestock and the wildlife, but surely there must be a better, more humane way to control Kielder Forest than to bring back a predator that hasn’t lived in Britain for more than 1,300 years.
