Unite and get on with it

Brexit won the referendum but now requires leadership here in Britain, and in Brussels to negotiate our departure from the EU.

Remain supporters held a rally in London recently to express their disappointment at the outcome of leaving the EU.

But in all votes the majority rules.

That’s democracy.

As Mr Cameron in his wisdom made only plans for a remain victory, defeated he resigned his office, leaving Britain in the predicament we now face, leaderless.

September is the possible time for a candidate to take office.

Brussels is showing signs of neurosis at Britain’s decision to quit the EU, with Jean-Claude Juncker threatening Britain’s future trading deals in Europe.

It has been causing concern in the corridors of power in Brussels.

Holland, Sweden, and Denmark, and possibly France, could be contemplating an exit from the EU.

Britain must now regroup as a nation and face the coming ups and downs that the future may bring.

We will, eventually, be free of the laws and statutes of Brussels.

We have the knowledge, the skills and the entrepreneurs to make our way successfully in the world.

As a united nation, let’s get with it and do it.
