A YOUTH group in West Shields is going from strength to strength with the launch of a new venture.

Paul Kirton and John Falconbridge run CE Sports, which is based at Chuter Ede Community Centre.

The venture sees them providing football and dance camps, game station and princess parties.

The scheme is being supported by the community centre based in Galsworthy Road, Biddick Hall.

Mr Kirton, who also coaches Whiteleas Juniors Football Club, said: “The gamestation parties and football camps are something we had been talking about for a while now and, with the support of Chuter Ede, we have been able to make it possible.

“We just want to provide activities for young people from the area that they enjoy.”
