ANGRY Hebburn Town boss Rob Marsden wants an instant response from his players when they host Brandon United tomorrow.

Hebburn suffered their first defeat in six in midweek when they lost 3-0 at Northallerton.

And the Town manager has vowed to ring the changes after insisting his side got excatly what they deserved from the fixture.

Marsden has overseen a
mini-revival at the club, and a hat-trick of victories put a bit of breathing space between them and the relegation positions at the bottom of Northern League Division Two.

However, Marsden was unhappy with the attitude of the side on Wednesday night, and said: "We didn't deserve anything, and probably needed the kick up the backside.

"Three wins means nothing in this league - we need to be more consistent.

"The substitutes who came on certainly gave a good account of themselves, so changes will be made to shake people up."

Marsden has defensive worries with Daniel Gray and Kyle Pendergood both unavailable, but midfielder Keith Oliver returns after injury.

The game represents a good chance for Hebburn to bounce straight back to winning ways, with Brandon currently experiencing a poor run of form and falling down the table.

They have lost their last five games, including crashing out of the Durham Challenge Cup to Boldon.

However, when the two sides met in the league earlier this season, it was Brandon who had the last laugh, winning 4-3.
