JARROW boss Dave Bell is hoping his side have the X Factor when they host Northern League Division One side West Auckland in the Durham Challenge Cup.

Bell said: "We will need to be at our very best to beat these. If we play the kind of football I know we can, we will cause them some problems."

Jarrow have a selection problem in goal, with Tony Orr missing and Anthony Dixon struggling with injury, but Bell is confident he will be fit in time.

The manager, however, won't be at the game - he is travelling down to London to cheer on family friend Joe McElderry in the X Factor live finals.
