JARROW Roofing boss Richie McLoughlin is expecting a much tougher game against Whickham than the two previous contests between the sides this season.
Roofing have already enjoyed 6-1 and 5-1 home victories over Whickham in the league and cup this season, but McLoughlin has warned his side against complacency when they travel to the Glebe Ground for tomorrow's clash in Division Two of the Northern League.

He said: "Whickham have picked up under their new manager, and have been doing better than us.

"You have got to go into every game confident you can win, but the players are probably thinking it will be an easy game after the other two results.

"But this will be a tough game, and we can't be complacent."

McLoughlin will be without Craig Fannon and Stuart Dixon, but Wes Brown and Paul Catto return to the squad.

However, goalkeeper Adam Dowell is rated 50-50, and striker Eifion Williams is still struggling to shake off an ankle problem.

"Eifion's still having trouble with his ankle," said McLoughlin.

"He did a bit of training by himself the other night, but we'll just have to wait and see how it is.

"It's not serious, but it's just niggling him."

McLoughlin still has plenty of firepower at his disposal, with David Graham scoring on his debut in the 2-1 defeat against Esh Winning.

McLoughlin added: "We should have won that game easily.

"We're just not taking our chances – we missed four one-on-ones, while they only had one other chance apart from their two goals."
