JARROW Roofing are hoping to build on their stunning midweek win over Spennymoor when they travel to Guisborough tomorrow.
Despite being disappointed to only draw 0-0 with Whickham last Saturday, the point was still enough for them to close the gap on league leaders Sunderland RCA to seven points, with two games in hand.

And Roofing bounced back from that draw to produce the result of the week, beating big-spending Division One title-chasers Spennymoor 1-0 in the Durham Challenge Cup.

Craig Nelson got the only goal as he continues his return to top form, while Roofing made it three clean sheets in a row and eight for the season in all competitions.

Guisborough were tipped by many to be challenging for promotion this season, but inconsistencies have blighted their start to the campaign.

They drew with RCA a fortnight ago, but then lost to Stokesley on their last outing.
