JARROW Roofing boss Richie McLoughlin is hoping the return of striker Craig Tate can give his side a goal threat against high-flying Consett tomorrow.

Roofing played well against Bedlington Terriers on Tuesday, despite going down to a 3-0 defeat, with missed chances costing them dearly.

"We played well, but couldn't put the ball in the back of the net," said McLoughlin.

"We didn't really have a natural centre forward, with Craig Tate being suspended, but he comes back tomorrow."

Tate's return could offset the possible loss of Richard Logan, who is rated only 50-50 ahead of the trip to take on the Steelmen.
