JARROW Roofing pulled off one of the shocks of the night as they beat big-spending Spennymoor Town 1-0 in the Durham Challenge Cup.
In a fast-paced game, Roofing turned in an awesome defensive display to keep Moors at bay.
Roofing keeper Gary Frater was forced to make a number of top quality saves as the Durham side pressed.
However, after the break, the Jarrow side were more of an attacking force.
Roofing were denied two good penalty shouts by referee Sebastian Stockbridge, but finally made the breakthrough on 75 minutes.
Substitute Kris Hughes crossed into the area for Craig Nelson, who slid the ball home to ensure progress to the next round.
