JARROW Roofing bow out of Division One of the Northern League when they host West Allotment Celtic tomorrow.
The Roofers are the borough's only Northern League side still in action, with South Shields and Hebburn Town both having finished their campaign.

And the summer break cannot come soon enough for Richie McLoughlin's side, after a disastrous season which has seen them relegated from Division One.

A midweek defeat at the hands of fellow strugglers Washington dented confidence further, but McLoughlin will be wanting to go out on a high, before he turns his attentions to planning an immediate return to the top flight.

And he fired a thinly-veiled attack at two of his players, who decided to miss the Washington game so they could turn out for their Sunday side.

"If Kyle Pendergood and Richard Logan haven't got a game for their Sunday team tomorrow, then we'll have a full squad out," he said, laced with sarcasm.

"We had to play a couple of youngsters against Washington, and it gave us a chance to have a look at them – but the two players should have been there."
