JARROW Roofing lost 1-0 at Darlington RA on Saturday - the first points of the season the bottom-of-the-table home side have picked up.

Manager Richie McLoughlin was fuming after the game, as his inconsistent side again dropped league points.

He said: "RA had 11 men behind the ball, and one chance gave them the win, but credit to them – they were very compact and showed more bottle than some of our players.

"We are a side that has good players, but a lot are only looking after their own game, not playing as a team.

"When a side as poor as RA, who are not as good as your own, can take three points, it makes me look at the commitment."
