SIMONSIDE look set to have a free weekend – as well as seeing their record scoreline disappear from the history books.
Sima hammered Ryton Reserves 28-0 last month, and were due to play their lowly Durham Alliance opponents again tomorrow.

But Ryton – unsurprisingly – have run into difficulties, and have tendered their resignation to the league.

It will mean all their results this season will be expunged from the record books – including Sima's stunning scoreline.
