SIMONSIDE celebrated their Durham Alliance title triumph in style with a 3-1 victory over Shildon in their final game.
A great brace from Sean Flood, and an excellent Steven Graham strike rounded off a great season for Gordon Diamond's side.
In the Wearside League, JARROW secured their second-best ever points tally with a 3-1 win over Cleator Moor.
After an even opening, Richard Stubbs broke the deadlock on 40 minutes, and although Moor equalised after the interval, Liam Clark (70) and Stubbs (75) secured the win.
Boss Dave Bell said: "We thoroughly deserved the win, and the margin of victory should have been greater."
Jarrow finally finish their season off with a game against Belford House tonight.
Jarrow already have 68 points, only bettered by last season's 76 when they finished runners-up, and can pip Easington for fourth spot if the Colliers get beat in their final game tonight.
In the Northern Alliance, HEBBURN REYROLLE beat Wallington 4-1. Craig Walton and Ray Oshin both struck braces to earn their side a good victory.
