JARROW Roofing's season came to an inglorious end as they were thumped 4-0 by West Allotment Celtic.

It put the seal on a nightmare campaign for the Roofers, who finished with just 19 points, and rock-bottom of Division One of the Arngrove Northern League.

Boss Richie McLoughlin admitted during the week that he is looking forward to the summer break, and a chance to recharge his batteries before a tilt at promotion back to the top flight.

Tom Vickers hit a brace for West Allotment, with Ben Richardson and Wyn Fremlin also on target.
