THE FA Cup third round will pit South Shields-born Phil Brown and his Hull City side against Newcastle United.
Hull - who beat Newcastle at St James's Park in September - will entertain United at the KC Stadium on the weekend of January 3 and 4.

Sunderland have a home tie against Bolton Wanderers - who beat them 4-1 at the Stadium of Light yesterday - and non-league Blyth Spartans will host Blackburn Rovers at Croft Park if they win their second-round replay against Bournemouth.
