Take steps to beat disease

The British Heart Foundation is currently funding over £100million of research into fighting heart and circulatory disease, which takes the lives of more than 6,800 people in North East each year.

Research has shown that being physically inactive can increase your risk of heart disease and so we’re calling on everyone in the North East to put their best foot forward and sign up to Just Walk.

Just Walk invites family, friends and colleagues to organise a walk in a location, time and distance of their choice.
