Babyshambles make up for disaster debut

IF this was Babyshambles' first album it would be labelled a classic.
But after the shambles that was their debut, Pete Doherty has some lost ground to make up.

This is a very good album, not a bunch of unfinished demos and can't-be-bothered half ideas like the first one.

And although there's nothing on here as good as Time For Heroes or even Killamangiro, the former Libertine seems to have his mojo back.

Perhaps Babyshambles show at Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena on November 23 might be worth going to after all.
