Pride winners will get great prizes

ONCE again, our Pride of South Tyneside Award winners will be walking away with some great prizes – thanks to our sponsors.
Admiire, which designs and creates handmade Swarovski crystal jewellery, has donated a necklace and earring set for the winner of the Good Friend/Neighbour category.
The victor will also receive a cut and blow-dry, courtesy of Saks Hair and Beauty.
Hays Travel, the largest independently owned travel agent in the UK, has donated £300 of travel vouchers to the Child of Courage award recipient.
The Young Performer(s) of the Year will receive a goody bag from Metro Radio, and the Top Achiever will receive a laptop from Robertson Scaffolding.
A magnum of Moet champagne from Sovereign Strategy will move the celebrations along for the winner of the Judges' Special Award.
Sunderland Empire Theatre has donated VIP panto tickets for the Carer of the Year and Role Model of the Year.
The Community Group of the Year will enjoy a Sunderland AFC match next season, with entry to the Black Cats' bar.
The Role Model of the Year, meanwhile, will be treated to a meal for two and bottle of house wine at Tavistock Italia South Shields, courtesy of Tavistock Leisure.
Temple Park Centre has given a £25 Bodytime beauty treatment voucher for the Good Friend/Neighbour and an annual junior gym pass for the Sporting Excellence winner.
The Customs House has also provided tickets for A Midsummer Nights Dream and its panto, for the Greener South Tyneside and Sporting Excellence categories respectively.
The Sporting Excellence winner will also be able to treat their family to a game of ten pin bowling, courtesy of The Dunes Ten Pin Bowl.
Thorntons has provided a luxury chocolate hamper for the Carer of the Year.
The Pride of South Tyneside Awards take place at the Customs House on Thursday, July 10.
