NEWCASTLE are interested in Atletico Madrid's former Arsenal winger Jose Antonio Reyes.
The story - revealed by the Gazette yesterday - is one of the main transfer rumours in today's national press.

Several papers are also reporting - again as we revealed yesterday - that Manchester United defender Jonny Evans has said he would consider making his loan move to Sunderland permanent.

Tottenham manager Juande Ramos is interested in signing Barcelona's Brazilian striker Ronaldinho, who could cost as little as £12m. (Various)

Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso insists he will not be leaving the club this summer, despite being linked with Spanish giants Real Madrid. (The Times)

Manchester City expect to lose one of their goalkeepers this summer, with Andreas Isaksson or Kasper Schmeichel set to leave. (The Times)

Middlesbrough's England Under-21 winger Adam Johnson has hinted he may leave the club in order to play regular first-team football. (Daily Express)

Defender John Pantsil will quit West Ham this summer. (The Sun)
