Carlos set for West Ham test?

CARLOS Edwards could be a surprise inclusion in the Sunderland squad to face West Ham on Sunday.
The right-winger was recalled from a loan spell at Wolves yesterday, despite the Championship club hoping to extend his stay at Molineux well into the New Year.
And with Edwards showing signs of getting back to his best, Sunderland boss Roy Keane could be tempted to use him this weekend to supply the ammunition for physically imposing strikers Kenwyne Jones and Djibril Cisse.
The 30-year-old had been out on loan since early October.
And, after a quiet few games, he looked as though he was just getting back to his best in last week's 2-1 victory at Southampton.
The winger set up both Wolves' goals at St Mary's and manager Mick McCarthy was full of praise afterwards for the way the right-winger terrorised the home defence.
Edwards – who also impressed in Trinidad & Tobago's World Cup win over Cuba in midweek – was originally sent out to gain fitness and was talking only last week about a potentially extended stay at Molineux.
But Keane has taken up his option to recall Edwards and give Sunderland the option of greater width on the wings – especially now that Jones has returned to the forward line.
Edwards has made just 31 appearances for Sunderland since joining from Luton Town in January 2007 for £1.5m.
But he made a big impact among fans in his first few appearances, helping drive Sunderland towards the Championship title in Keane's first season in charge.
