Kieran dropped for being late

KIERAN Richardson is the latest player to fall foul of Roy Keane's intolerance of lateness.
The England winger didn't even figure in the squad for Sunderland's final match of the season against Arsenal on Sunday.
And he has revealed that he was dropped for late late for training during the week.
Similar punishment had previously been meted out to Anthony Stokes, Tobias Hysen and Marton Fulop, while Liam Miller was put on the transfer list for repeated poor time-keeping.
"During the week I was late for training due to my train being late," Richardson, 23, said.
"That's why I was left out against Arsenal. I expect that of the manager. If you're not in on time, you don't get in the squad."
However, Miller and Fulop appeared in the 1-0 defeat by Arsène Wenger's team, demonstrating that Keane does not hold grudges.
"I appreciate the decision," Richardson said, "and I was there on Sunday supporting the lads."
