Colman's fights for TV prize

TONIGHT'S the night Colman's fish and chip shop finds out if it's the nation's Local Food Hero.
The restaurant and takeaway in Ocean Road, South Shields, is through to the final in Gary Rhodes's Local Food Heroes programme.
Owner Richard Ord said: "We would love to put South Tyneside on the culinary map."
Colman's will compete for the Local Food Hero 2008 title, as well as £40,000 prize money, from 9pm on UKTV Food tonight.
