A DATE has been set for the funeral of tragic South Tyneside police officer Neil Gartland.
It will take place at St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Bridge Street, Sunderland, next Thursday, July 9.
The 38-year-old, who was based at South Shields, was killed last Friday, when his car was involved in an accident in thick fog on the A19 in County Durham.
